Modulhus| The 'SNUG' Design Competition

Modulhus | The 'SNUG'

I was a key contributor to the 'SNUG', Barton Willmore's winning entry for NaCSBA’s prestigious ‘Self Build on a Shoestring’ competition which featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs.

The SNUG design is a pre-fabricated timber module at the core of each home. Each modules internal space is 5m wide by 2.9m high, and as series of them connected alongside each other create a home, for example, four modules for a one-bed home or six modules for a two-bed.

The SNUG has since gone on to win 10 more prestigious awards.
